I started uploading videos in 2008, but didn't really take it seriously until 2012. I had just started my career as a freelance translator and I was making a name for myself in the video game localization industry. So, I started a YouTube channel showing how I found clients, what the work was like, and any other information that I thought would be helpful for other translators trying to find the same kind of work.
As the channel grew, it started attracting more and more clients, and I needed more and more help.
By the time I closed my translation agency down in 2015, I had 650 freelance translators and editors on staff, covering 19.5 languages.
I personally worked on:
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria
Star Wars: The Old Republic
The Elder Scrolls OnlineAion Online
Minecraft (the original language packs)
Marvel (Comics and part of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie script)
My work now focuses on helping gamers grow their channels and make more money doing something that they love.
